EU-Funding

Making Europe tangible in the region: Basics on the EU funding landscape.

Guide to EU funding 2023

The European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS) publishes a regularly updated guide developed specifically for regional and local authorities, non-governmental organizations, businesses, the self-employed and citizens. Here you will find all the essential information on funding opportunities from the European Union.

The funding covered in this guide comes from the 2021-2027 EU budget, the Multiannual Financial Framework and the NextGenerationEU temporary instrument. The latter was created to support the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

You can access the guide here:

In the guide, you will find useful information about EU funding sources to help potential fundraisers plan their approach based on precise information. However, it is important to note that applying for EU funding requires careful planning and good time management. Regularly checking daily project calls on national and EU websites is also essential to avoid missing opportunities.

I hope that this guide will provide you with the necessary knowledge to successfully apply for your work or joint projects. Please contact my MEP offices if you have any further questions – we will be happy to assist you!
